DNT can provide a cost-effective analysis of your operating SNCR system. The goal is to get as close to the ideal operating curves as possible.
Common problems solved are: 1) Detached SNCR-related Stack Plumes, 2) High Reagent Consumption, 3) Marginal NOX Compliance, 4) Injector Failure, 5) Plugging/Scaling.
To accomplish this, DNT will perform some temperature measurements in the injection zone and develop an actual furnace temperature profile. This is important from both a vertical temperature drop perspective and a front-to-back flow channeling perspective. The reagent needs to get to the combustion gas at the right temperature and in the right proportion. As is common, the locations determined during process design simulation are not ideal considering actual furnace conditions.
DNT manufactures replacement injectors which can be tested at the same time. These injectors are superior to the OEM version - longer service life, better atomization, variable spray patterns, no internal orifices to clog, and requires no modification to the boiler mounts.
