   Recent Developments at De-NOx Technologies

Here's an update of the latest developments at DNT:

So far, FY 2008 is proceeding much like 2007.  DNT shipped complete systems for a 50MW power boiler at a Pulp/Paper Mill, it's 4th cement plant, and it's first Alcohol plant.  Contracts have been received for a Urea Dissolving system on the Big Island, a 200,000 pph coal boiler in the Midwest, and a PC unit in east Asia.

Performance Testing on it's latest biomass boiler SNCR system has demonstrated controlled NOx emissions well below 0.075 lb/MMBTU - with very low slip.  DNT 's systems are establishing new state-of-the-art Standards.

FY 2007 was another great year for DNT:  It has shipped it's third SNCR system for a North American Cement plant, an SNCR system for a southwest biomass boiler, and a third SNCR system for a well-known biomass boiler manufacturer.  In addition, DNT has received SNCR Contracts for a distiller grain boiler and a 50 MW biomass boiler.  DNT will be testing at it's ninth North American cement plant in the summer.

DNT has been granted  Design/Supply/Start-Up/Guarantee Contracts for it's 4th SNCR system on a wood fired  boiler in 2006.  This installation is for a 65 MW load swinging unit and includes DNT's proprietary automatic injector zone control system.

In 2006, DNT has provided SNCR testing services on it's 7th and 8th North American cement plant.

After completion of prototype design and testing, DNT is manufacturing completely automated injection systems for SNCR systems on two load following utility boilers.  The design combines DNT's proven injector technology with  rugged, cost efficient, completely pre-fabricated, motion controls.

DNT is pleased to announce the start-up of its second SNCR system at a cement manufacturing facility.  The facility is unique in that it can accept either urea solution or aqua ammonia - and possibly dry urea with minor design modifications.  The system readily passed its Performance Guarantees.

DNT has been granted  Design/Supply/Start-Up/Guarantee Contracts for three urea SNCR systems on wood fired  boilers.

A Third Cement Plant has contracted with DNT -  for SNCR equipment and testing services.  This facility will lease the Test Equipment from DNT until a permanent system can be installed.  The Test System utilized DNT Hi-Vol Injectors, which was delivered approximately 2 weeks after Award.  The Temporary System will operate through the ozone season.  A Fourth, Fifth, and Sixth cement plant has contracted with DNT for SNCR testing services for  2005.

DNT has been granted a  Contract for the Design/Supply/Start-Up/Guarantee from a Second Cement Manufacturing SNCR facility. Interestingly, this installation will be able to use either urea or ammonia.  Start-up Fall 2005.

DNT has completed the Design/Supply of an SNCR system for a 50 MW coal-fired Circulating Fluid Bed Combustor, to be Operational in May 2005.

DNT is pleased to announce the start-up of its first SNCR system at a cement manufacturing facility.  It is the first permanent SNCR system on a cement plant in North America.  Equipment was delivered in slightly over one month from Purchase Date.

DNT has a new Licensee in Central Europe - See www.ekotechnology.com

DNT has completed the design and supply of a urea-based SNCR system at a Connecticut refuse to energy facility.  The system design is based upon DNT's Patent-Pending Process and Injector.  The system was completed in approximately 3 months from award of contract and includes complete PLC controls.  Installation of this system was not mandatory, but driven by economics. . . .the life cycle cost of the DNT system was lower than continued purchase of NOX emission Credits.

DNT can now extend Intellectual Property Insurance coverage to its urea-SNCR customers.  The DNT policy broadly covers patent infringement defense and damages reimbursement for DNT's process and design.

DNT now has a US Patent Pending for version 3 of its SNCR injector.  The injector replaced the OEM version on a 400,000 pph urea-SNCR boiler, is now proven to provide superior reagent utilization, and lasts longer in the harshest combustion environments.  DNT injectors are now operating at 5 facilities - mostly replacing the OEM version.

DNT has applied for additional US Patent Claims to support its four major business lines.  The Patent Pending protects Technologies associated with SNCR at cement kilns and fluid bed combustors, Urea to Ammonia retrofits to ailing urea solution "kettle boiler" - type units, and new Urea to Ammonia units.

DNT has provided SNCR Optimization Services and new injectors at a wood fired bubbling bed unit in Western PA.  The existing injectors constantly plugged and were not atomizing correctly, resulting in high maintenance and chemical consumption.  Now, the plant runs with half the number of injectors, with virtually no maintenance, and with far lower incidence of non-compliance.

The qualifications are there . . . Why spend more on a system than necessary ?
